Now more than ever we need to start heading out and support our local pubs. Throughout this post, we are going to discuss with you why you should support your local pubs, and how you can support them.
Why Should You Support Your Local Pubs?
Pubs local to you has taken a hard hit over the past year. Throughout the Covid-19 global pandemic, pubs have been one of the few places that have been closed for the majority of the year. They have been the places that have had to wait until the very last restrictions have been lifted for them to be able to open. Even when they can open, the regulations in place have made it just that little bit more difficult for them.
Local pubs in Northampton took a huge burn on their financial income over the past year. This is why now more than ever we need to head out and support our local pubs. Help to put them back on their feet after such a difficult and tragic year.
How Can You Support Your Local Pub?
There are many ways that you can support your local pubs, some of these include:
Visiting them – the best way to support them is by visiting them. Go to your local family run pub and visit them for a drink with your family and friends. These are the pubs that aren’t run by big companies and will appreciate your presence more often than not.
Leaving A Tip – At the end of your stay leaving the staff a nice tip will really help them out. They will only be making a small amount of profit from each drink served, so any tip is greatly appreciated. This will help them get back on their feet.
Recommend them – If you do not feel safe enough to be heading back out to the pub just yet, an easy way to support your local pub is by recommending them. A lot of smaller pubs rely on word of mouth advertisement from their customers to help gain new visitors.
