We can all easily go to our local supermarkets, purchasing produce from these stores. But a lot of the products we are purchasing are not sourced locally, meaning whilst we are supporting our local stores, we are not supporting our local farms and produce suppliers.
It takes our farms a lot of work to prepare, plant, and harvest all of their crops, with a huge amount of them going to waste. So, we urge you to head down to your local farm shops and purchase some of their personally grown crops.
Yes, you may be paying a slightly higher price for these goods, but you know they are locally sourced. You know you are supporting your local farmer and their family.
A local farm will appreciate your purchase more than our large supermarket chains. So why not find a farm shop near you and buy some local produce.
