Eating heavy is normal when it’s Christmas time. It’s so difficult to avoid the classic confectionary items like Christmas pudding, mince pies, Christmas cake, gingerbread, chocolate santas and Celebrations among other festive goodies. That means, however, you may want to get in perfect working order before that time comes, especially in terms of fitness. It can be good to eat clean during the build up to Christmas and you can do this by drinking more water, eating salads for lunch and focusing more on lean meats and vegetables over carbohydrates like pasta, bread and potato. When you focus more on these types of foods, you’ll feel all the better for it. You can also up your exercises, including lots of cardio to melt the fat away and you’ll be surprised how much weight you can loose in the space of three months if you work hard enough. Get in shape now so you don’t have to be guilty about over eating thoughout the festive period.
