Everyone is struggling right now with the cost of living crisis. Rather than supporting large food chains, we recommend supporting local food suppliers. If you do a quick search, you are likely to find many farm shops around your local area that have goods for sale that are provided to them by local farmers. This is the best way to support your local community and help everyone in their time of need. Even though some of the costs may be slightly higher, you may find they are able to offer more discounts. They may also be higher quality products that are much more enjoyable.
Alongside supporting local food suppliers like farmers, you should also support local cafes and restaurants. Again not those big chain restaurants. Smaller cafes in villages or towns are more likely to provide high-quality food, using locally sourced goods. Do your bit to help your local community and keep friendly faces around.
